Detroit’s painted misfits Twiztid are back with a slick, sinister (re released) visual for ‘Do You Really Know’, dropping just weeks ahead of their upcoming tour celebrating 25 years of Freek Show. Released yesterday, the video is all neon decay and underground grime, exactly the aesthetic you’d expect from the demented duo.
‘Do You Really Know’ is a brooding cut that leans into the pair’s darker, more cinematic instincts. It blends eerie synth flourishes, aggressive vocal swings and razor sharp rhymes. Scratching the edge of paranoia, Madrox and Monoxide aren’t asking for trust. They’re interrogating reality itself, stalking alleyways of the psyche with venom in their verses. The visual takes that paranoia and blows it wide open, with slow burning camera sweeps, blood red lights and quick flashes of urban decay.
Twiztid have re recorded the album and it will be available exclusively on the upcoming Freek Show tour, a must have for any collector. The Demented Duo will be hitting the road this August to honour the 25th anniversary of Freek Show. The record that flipped horrorcore on its head and carved their name into underground rap history!
