The Bigger Than You Think Tour made its Texas stop on September 6 at The Pavilion at Toyota Music Factory in Irving, delivering a night of pop-punk nostalgia and high energy performances. With Simple Plan, Bowling For Soup, 3OH!3, and LØLØ on the bill, fans were treated to a line-up that leaned hard into good times, singalong choruses, and unapologetic fun.
Our Photographer Heather Martinez was in the pit capturing it all, from Simple Plan’s polished throwbacks to Bowling For Soup’s irreverent banter, 3OH!3’s party driven anthems, and LØLØ’s powerhouse stage presence. The photos speak for themselves, but each band’s setlist offered a reminder of just how many crowd favorites these acts have stacked up over the years.

When We Were Young Festival
For Simple Plan, this tour date is just one part of a bigger run. The band is also locked in for When We Were Young Festival 2025 in Las Vegas, a line-up stacked with scene defining names that promises to be one of the year’s biggest alt reunions. You can check the full line-up here.
Chuck Comeau Interview
We also recently caught up with drummer Chuck Comeau to discuss their documentary The Kids in the Crowd, the band’s long running connection with fans and how it feels to see multiple generations in the audience. Plus, you know we had to talk some Scooby Doo!

With the Bigger Than You Think Tour wrapping up in the States, the Irving stop proved just how alive this scene still is, nostalgic yet forward facing, and every bit as loud as the kids who grew up on it.
