Los Angeles Rallying Cry: CHIRLA Benefit Show Hits The Echoplex This Monday

Share

CHIRLA concert Los Angeles. The call has been made, a CHIRLA Benefit Show is about to go down! This Monday, June 16, The Echoplex will play host to a stacked night of music, resistance and solidarity. As the city’s alt community comes together to support the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights (CHIRLA). With tensions around immigrant rights boiling over nationwide, this show isn’t just about the music, it’s about taking a stand where it counts.

The Line Up

Leading the charge is Tom Morello, the six-string revolutionary whose riffs have fuelled movements for decades. Expect nothing less than razor sharp protest anthems from the Rage Against the Machine legend!

The lineup reads like a rebellious manifesto. B Real, the voice behind Cypress Hill will bring his hard hitting lyrical fire. Pussy Riot who are no strangers to standing up against injustice, are set to unleash their uncompromising politically charged set. K.Flay’s genre bending intensity will hit deep, while The Neighborhood Kids inject fresh blood into the night’s sonic onslaught. Visual artist and activist Shepard Fairey (yeah, the guy behind Obey) will soundtrack the resistance with a special DJ set. The whole night will be held together by none other than George Lopez, who’s lending his voice and presence to the cause as host.

This isn’t your average benefit gig. It’s a rally cry for Los Angeles and beyond, a reminder that music and activism have always gone hand in hand in the alt scene. Every cent raised will go to the Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights tireless work defending immigrant communities. Offering legal support and fighting for basic human dignity in the face of increasing hostility.

Tickets drop today at 2PM PT via Ticketmaster.

Don’t sleep on the CHIRLA concert Los Angeles. If you believe in music as a weapon for change, this is where you need to be.
