The worlds of pro wrestling, horror, and metal collided at Silver Scream Con over the weekend when WWE champion Rhea Ripley joined Ice Nine Kills on stage, only to be theatrically “murdered” by Terrifier villain Art the Clown.
During Ice Nine Kills’ set on Saturday (Sept 13) in Worcester, Massachusetts, Ripley stormed the stage to a massive crowd reaction. The moment escalated when Art the Clown appeared, snatched Ripley’s Labubu plush, and provoked a fight. Ripley slapped Art, who struck back, sending her crashing to the floor. In true Terrifier fashion, Art finished the job with a cleaver before faux medical staff rushed in to cart away Ripley’s “body.”
Of course, It was pure theatre, blending WWE showmanship with Ice Nine Kills’ love for horror spectacle. Fan filmed footage quickly spread online, with the scene looking like something halfway between a pay per view wrestling match and a grindhouse slasher.

Ripley Responds
Ripley later took to X (formerly Twitter) to gush about the crossover: “I may have just lived my dream… Thank you [Silver Scream Con, Ice Nine Kills], and EVERYBODY involved!” Ice Nine Kills responded: “The pleasure was all ours.”
The spot was extra special for Ripley, who’s long been vocal about her fandom for Art the Clown and the Terrifier franchise. She even collaborated with Hot Topic on an Art inspired merch line earlier this year.
The Silver Scream 4
Silver Scream Con 4 ran from September 12–14, once again proving itself as the ultimate playground for horror and music fans. Alongside Ice Nine Kills’ set, the convention featured panels and appearances from genre icons including Terrifier star David Howard Thornton (aka Art the Clown).
For Ice Nine Kills, the stunt was another example of why they’ve become one of heavy music’s most theatrical live acts. For Rhea Ripley, it was a chance to merge her two loves, wrestling and horror, in front of a crowd who were more than ready to scream.
