Hulk Hogan Has Passed At 71 Following Cardiac Arrest At Florida Home

Hulk Hogan’s cause of death has been revealed. Terry Bollea, better known to the world as Hulk Hogan has died at 71 after suffering a sudden cardiac arrest at his home in Clearwater, Florida. The wrestling icon was rushed to a local hospital on the morning of July 24, where he was pronounced dead at 11:17 a.m., according to Clearwater authorities.

As reported by Today.com Emergency responders were called to Hogan’s residence at 9:51 a.m. for a cardiac emergency. Though first responders attempted to stabilise him, he was ultimately declared dead at the hospital. Hogan’s manager confirmed the WWE Hall of Famer was surrounded by family at the time of his passing.

Hogan had battled numerous health issues in recent years, including multiple back and heart surgeries. His team had previously denied online speculation about his declining health, but the sudden nature of his death has left fans stunned. He is survived by his wife, Sky Daily, and two children, Brooke and Nick.

In a statement, WWE said: “Hulk Hogan helped transform wrestling into a global spectacle in the 1980s. He was one of pop culture’s most recognisable figures, and we extend our condolences to his family, friends, and fans around the world.”

A post on Hogan’s official Instagram account read: “It is with a heavy heart and deep sadness that we confirm we have lost a legend… He will be missed, but never forgotten.”

For millions, Hogan wasn’t just a wrestler, he was a living embodiment of ‘80s excess and larger than life bravado. Whether you loved or loathed the red and yellow whirlwind of Hulkamania, his impact on pop culture and pro wrestling is undeniable.
