There’s something poetic about nostalgia hitting this loud. Yellowcard and A Day To Remember’s co-headlining ‘Maximum Fun’ tour rolled into Dos Equis Pavilion in Dallas, Texas on September 24, 2025, and it was a celebration of two eras colliding.
Captured through the lens of Heather Martinez, the night was pure electricity, sweat, singalongs, and the unmistakable crackle of pop-punk revival energy. Fans who grew up screaming ‘If It Means a Lot to You’ and ‘Ocean Avenue’ found themselves shoulder to shoulder with a new generation keeping those songs alive in 2025.

A Day To Remember hit the stage with their trademark heart, opening with ‘The Downfall of Us All’ before ripping through fan favorites like ‘I’m Made of Wax, Larry, What Are You Made Of?’, ‘Miracle’, and the tour debut of ‘Better Off This Way’. Jeremy McKinnon’s voice carried the crowd, while the band’s tight precision reminded everyone why they’ve remained at the top of the scene for nearly two decades.
Yellowcard balanced the night with melody and nostalgia in equal measure, including ‘Way Away’ and ‘Lights and Sounds’ to the still perfect closer ‘Ocean Avenue’, it was a reminder that few bands have written choruses that cut as deep, or age as well.
The ‘Maximum Fun’ tour is still in full swing, with massive arena stops ahead across the U.S. before wrapping in Texas. If you haven’t caught it yet, this is one to witness before it fades into memory.
