Melbourne’s own XCalibre are back swinging with a heavyweight collaboration. Their new single ‘Gravity (Through It All)’ ropes in DJ Lethal of Limp Bizkit and Marcos Curiel of P.O.D., and it’s got all the grit and weight you’d expect from that line-up.
Recorded in Los Angeles at Matt Sorum’s home studio, the track was produced by Brandon Friesen and shaped in the presence of rock royalty. Frontman Dan Marazita recalled laying down drums while Sorum casually pulled a snare from the wall, the same one he’d used with Guns N’ Roses at Wembley, and told him to try it. That kind of history hanging in the air pushed the band harder, and you can hear it in the final cut.

Musically, ‘Gravity (Through It All)’ is less about polish and more about punch. It’s an anthem of resilience, built around lyrics about stumbling, struggling, and refusing to fold when life feels heavier than you can handle. The song doesn’t shy from pain or confusion, but instead twists those moments into something defiant. The addition of Curiel’s guitars and Lethal’s programming widens the sound without sanding down the edges.
XCalibre’s Debut Album ‘X’
The track also sets the stage for what’s coming next: XCalibre’s debut album, simply titled X, due out January 30, 2026. Pre-orders are already up, with bundles through XMusic. The single arrives with a video that puts their intensity front and centre!
