Share

Two of independent hip-hop’s most relentless figures are back on the road, with Tech N9ne and E-40 launching the Strange Wid’ It Tour across North America.

The co-headlining run has already been tearing through cities with the kind of energy you’d expect from artists who built their empires without playing by industry rules, a newly dropped recap video pulls back the curtain on that first stretch, capturing the sweat, chaos, and connection that’s kept both artists locked in for decades.

A blueprint for doing it your own way

This tour isn’t just a victory lap, it’s a statement, Tech N9ne and E-40 have spent years proving that independence in hip-hop isn’t just possible, it’s sustainable.

Both artists carved out their own lanes long before it became fashionable, now, sharing a stage, it feels less like a co-headline and more like a meeting of minds that helped shape the modern independent grind.

Tech continues to pull from his recent album ‘5816 Forest’, mixing it into a set packed with rapid fire staples, E-40 counters with a catalogue that’s been defining the Bay Area’s voice for decades.

King Iso sets the tone

Backing them up each night is King Iso, bringing the kind of intensity that’s become a staple of Strange Music shows, he’s not just warming up the crowd, he’s kicking the door in before the headliners even touch the stage.

The run wraps on May 24th in Kansas City, closing out at The Midland Theatre in Tech N9ne’s backyard.

It won’t stop there, Tech is also set to perform at the FIFA Fan Festival Kansas City on June 12th and July 11th, placing him squarely on a global stage while still repping the city that built him.
