SUBLIME LAUNCH “SUBLIME ME GUSTA” FESTIVAL FOR 2026

Share

Sublime are stepping into a new era with the launch of Sublime Me Gusta, a travelling festival built around the band’s blend of reggae, punk rock, hip-hop and West Coast counterculture.

The new event kicks off May 9th, 2026, at Panther Island Pavilion in Fort Worth, Texas, marking the start of a multi city run shaped directly by the band’s history and the community that’s kept their music alive.

The festival pulls its name from the lyric “Me gusta mi reggae, me gusta punk rock” from the Sublime track ‘Caress Me Down’, a line that has followed the band for decades, tickets are already available through MeGustaFest.com, starting at 89.99 USD for general admission.

For its debut, Sublime will share the stage with Slightly Stoopid, longtime friends and fellow fixtures in the punk/reggae/rock crossover. The full lineup is still to come, but the band says each stop will be built around the same intersection of grooves and grit that defined Sublime from the start. Fans can also add a craft beer sampling session for 15.99 USD, with breweries from across the country showcased from noon until 3 PM.

Sublime Me Gusta is co-produced by Sublime and Brew Ha Ha Productions, the team behind several artist-curated festivals across the US. Event co-producer Cameron Collins called the launch personal. “As someone who lives in the Dallas-Fort Worth area, I couldn’t be more excited to launch the first ever Sublime Me Gusta Festival right in our own backyard,” he said.

“Sublime and Slightly Stoopid are two of the most influential bands of our generation and bringing them together for this new festival is something truly special.”

Frontman Jakob Nowell sees the festival as an extension of the culture he grew up in. “It’s always been our dream to put on a Festival for our friends and family,” he said. “It’s punk rock, hip hop, reggae, surf, all facets of true west coast alternative culture that has been kept alive for generations by fans and musicians alike.”

Two dates confirmed

So far, two dates are confirmed, May 9th in Fort Worth and June 27th in Oregon. Further cities will be added, expanding the festival into a full national run.

The announcement lands during a huge wave of momentum for Sublime. Their single ‘Ensenada’ spent seven weeks at number one on the Billboard Alternative Airplay chart, breaking the record for longest run at the top in 2025. Their new album Till The Sun Explodes arrives in early 2026, alongside the 30th anniversary celebration of their self-titled album, including two special nights at Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

With Sublime Me Gusta, the band is widening the world around their music once again, not just revisiting their past, but building a future firmly rooted in the culture they helped shape.
