Russia’s most brutal export is making landfall in America once again, this time with a new beast in tow. Slaughter To Prevail have announced a run of U.S. shows this July in celebration of their upcoming album ‘GRIZZLY’, due out July 18.
Known for their skull crushing live shows, suffocating low end and frontman Alex Terrible’s signature bear growl vocals, the band are taking the chaos on the road with a mix of festival slots and intimate venue dates. It’s a tight trek, but packed with promise for fans who’ve waited patiently (and impatiently) for the chance to hear these new tracks in the flesh.
The ‘GRIZZLY’ era has already stirred up hype thanks to its ferocious lead singles and confrontational visuals, an unrelenting continuation of the band’s warpath through the deathcore landscape. With the full album album almost here, the band’s reputation for sonic carnage speaks for itself.
Highlights of the tour include a stop at Rock Fest in Wisconsin and a return to Inkcarceration Festival in Ohio. From there, they’ll hit venues across the South and West Coast, culminating in a slot at the Warped Tour revival in Long Beach, an unexpected but fitting way to introduce ‘GRIZZLY’ to the masses.
Expect sweat, growls and probably a few bloodied noses!
