Slaughter To Prevail frontman Alex Terrible has announced the band will take an extended break in 2027 and 2028, putting live shows on hold so he can focus on family life and writing new material.
Before stepping away, though, the Russian deathcore juggernaut are planning their biggest touring year yet. The band will open 2026 with a European and UK run alongside Dying Fetus and Suicide Silence, with Annotations Of An Autopsy joining the UK dates.

Alex Terrible’s Statement
“I want to take a long break for 2027 and 2028 to write music and spend more time with my son and my wife. But in 2026, we want to start the year with a European tour, which we’ve already announced — and it is selling really well. I think this will be our biggest European tour yet. We’ll most likely add Kazakhstan too.”
He also teased plans for a North American spring tour, summer festivals across Europe, an autumn Asia run (Japan, China, Indonesia, and possibly Australia), and a South American leg finishing with a huge show in Mexico by the year’s end.
“To our dear listeners and fans: if you want to see and hear us live, 2026 will be the best time. Thank you all so much for your understanding and support. Europe is already on sale!”
With a relentless year ahead before their break, 2026 looks set to be the definitive Slaughter To Prevail experience.
