Long Island hardcore wrecking crew Pain Of Truth have unleashed ‘Fed By Fear’, the latest bruising preview of their sophomore album ‘Pain Of Truth’, due September 25th through DAZE.
Following previous singles ‘Unforgiven’ and ‘Stranded’, ‘Fed By Fear’ pushes straight into the metallic side of Pain Of Truth‘s sound.
The track is built on filthy riffs, gang vocals, stomping rhythms and breakdowns engineered for bodies to start moving, while lyrically turning its attention toward oppression and the divisions that keep people fighting one another.
It’s Pain Of Truth doing what they do best, but with the screws tightened considerably.

Pain Of Truth Level Up On Album Two
For their second full-length, Pain Of Truth worked with producer Will Putney, whose credits include Body Count, Incendiary and Counterparts.
The result promises a heavier and more refined extension of the sound that has pushed the Long Island band through the hardcore ranks, vocalist Michael Brian Smith attacks themes of resistance, struggle and refusing to accept the uglier realities surrounding him.
‘Pain Of Truth’ will feature 11 tracks, including all three singles released so far, and follows the band’s 2023 debut ‘Not Through Blood’.
There’s also no shortage of opportunities to hear the new material where it belongs, in a packed room.
Pain Of Truth Hit The Road This Fall
After appearing at Thrasher Death Match in California on September 12th, Pain Of Truth will head to Japan for several shows surrounding Bloodaxe Festival.
They’ll return for a sprawling North American run beginning in October and stretching through November, with the rotating support cast reading like a particularly nasty hardcore bill.
Madball, 100 Demons, Killing Time, Shattered Realm, Rotting Out, Contention, Missing Link, Fatal Realm, Mizery and Locked Shut are among the bands joining across select dates.
The run also includes appearances at Furnace Fest, Sick New World, Flyover Fest and Warped Tour before culminating in a no-barricade show at Brooklyn Steel on November 21st.
