Ozzy Osbourne Honoured With Official Haunted House At Halloween Horror Nights 2026

The Prince of Darkness is getting one more unforgettable stage this Halloween.

Universal Studios has announced an official Ozzy Osbourne inspired haunted house for Halloween Horror Nights 2026, with unique experiences heading to both Universal Orlando Resort and Universal Studios Hollywood.

The announcement arrives just weeks after the one year anniversary of the Black Sabbath frontman’s passing (July 22nd), offering fans an immersive journey through the music, imagery and dark imagination that defined one of heavy metal’s greatest icons.

According to Universal, guests will enter “the Prince of Darkness’s kingdom where music and mayhem collide”, exploring a decaying nightmare pulled directly from Ozzy’s lyrics, album artwork and unmistakable aesthetic (per Loudwire).

The Osbourne family worked alongside Universal to help bring the experience to life:

“Ozzy never stopped pushing boundaries and he loved anything that gave fans a new way to experience his music and the worlds he created. Walking through these haunted houses, you’ll recognize so many moments inspired by his music and imagination.”

Same attractions, unique interpretations

While both attractions celebrate the same legacy, each location will feature its own unique interpretation.

At Universal Studios Hollywood, the haunted house reportedly begins in Ozzy’s hometown of Birmingham, England, before taking guests on the “Crazy Train” into the terrifying Osbourne Asylum, drawing heavily from Diary of a Madman.

Meanwhile, visitors to Universal Orlando will board their own twisted version of the Crazy Train, travelling through scenes inspired by classic Ozzy albums including Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, The Ultimate Sin and Black Rain.

Music from six of Ozzy’s solo albums will soundtrack the attraction, including Blizzard of Ozz, Diary of a Madman, Bark at the Moon, No More Tears, Scream and Ordinary Man.

The haunted house joins an already stacked Halloween Horror Nights lineup featuring attractions based on Hellraiser, Evil Dead Burn, Stranger Things 5 and Sinners.

For generations of fans, Ozzy built an entire world through his music, one filled with horror, darkness and larger than life characters. This autumn, that world becomes something fans can literally walk through, it’s a fitting tribute to an artist whose influence stretched far beyond music, and whose legacy continues to inspire long after the final curtain fell.
