The news was confirmed via a string of Instagram posts from both Ozzy’s official account and Central BID Birmingham, who are coordinating the effort. One update reads:
“We’ve now collected the heartfelt tributes left for Ozzy with the Osbourne family’s blessing. Each message will now be respectfully sorted and sent to his family. The flowers will be recycled for the family to include within their garden.”

Photos show the scale of the job, thousands of floral offerings laid out in a warehouse as volunteers work to preserve what they can. According to a report from the BBC, cards and handwritten messages are being archived and delivered to the Osbourne family, while the flowers are being processed for recycling. Central BID Birmingham staff are reportedly working around the clock.
