Louder Than Life 2025: 5 Acts You Can’t Miss

Share

Over 160 acts are set to hit Louisville for Louder Than Life next month – here’s five you can’t miss, beyond the headliners.

Louder Than Life festival is set to go down from September 18-21 at Highland Festival Grounds in Louisville, Kentucky – bringing with it over 160 acts across all four action-packed days. That’s a whole lot of noise, though, so where do you even begin refining your must-see sets beyond the heavy hitter headliners like Bring Me The Horizon, Slayer, and Sleep Token?

Not to worry, my friends – we’ve got you covered with a rundown of five non-headliner sets you can’t miss in September.

Let’s get into it – but first, don’t forget to enter our giveaway of double passes to the festival, which wraps up at 12am PT, Thursday 28 August.

Amira Elfeky – Sunday 21 September, 5:25pm

Amira Elfeky has had a massive year so far, hitting the Rock Im Park stages in Germany in June to a massive crowd. Influenced by bands like Deftones and Evanescence (both on the Louder Than Life lineup, too), Elfeky is one to watch – if you can even call her an up-and-comer with 1.1 million monthly Spotify listeners under her belt. Blending nu-metal, goth metal, and a whole heap of other genres, her set is bound to be one for the ages – don’t miss getting down to the Big Bourbon Bar to catch her live before she blows up even more and crowds get even bigger.

Orthodox – Sunday 21 September, 8:15pm

Taking one of the last slots in the Louder Than Life schedule before Bring Me The Horizon close out the schedule, Nashville/Columbus-based group Orthodox take everything that makes acts like Knocked Loose great and spins it into their own groovy blend of metal and hardcore. Having just wrapped up supporting metallic hardcore mainstays Stray From The Path on their final Australian tour, the quintet is ready to blow the proverbial doors off the Kingdom Stage.

Not Enough Space – Thursday 18 September, 1:10pm

Orlando’s Not Enough Space are fast becoming one of the most exciting names in modern metalcore, blending soaring dual vocals from Lizzie Raatma and Liv Mitchell with crushing riffs and anthemic hooks. Fresh off tours with heavyweights like Attila, Woe Is Me, and Outline In Color, and already racking up over 10 million streams, the band is carving out their own lane with tracks like fan favorite No Way Out. Signed to Thriller Records and showing no signs of slowing down, Not Enough Space bring the kind of high-energy, emotionally charged live show that makes them a must-catch at Louder Than Life.

Nonpoint – Friday 19 September, 12:45pm

Anchored by the fiery vocals of Elias Soriano and Robb Rivera’s punishing drumming, Fort Lauderdale’s Nonpoint have been carving out their place in hard rock and nu-metal since the late ’90s. Known for their blunt fusion of nu-metal, alternative and groove-driven riffs, they’ve weathered the shifting tides of rock, dropped memorable albums like Statement (2000) and To the Pain (2005), and earned a reputation as relentless road warriors rooted in raw energy and authenticity. This year, they’re marking two massive milestones – To the Pain’s 20th and Statement’s 25th anniversary – and they’ll bring that anniversary-fuelled intensity straight to your stage at Louder Than Life.

Violent Vira – Friday 19 September, 12:10pm

Violent Vira wields raw emotion and gritty alt-metal grit like a blade – this Mexican-American singer-songwriter from Boise went from singing door-to-door to dropping viral singles like I Don’t Care (over 86 million Spotify streams) and God Complex, both racking up massive traction. She’s a magnetic live force you’ll want to catch.
