UK rock heavyweights Don Broco have unleashed their latest single ‘Hype Man’, a nu-metal laced cut that taps into the pressure cooker of modern life while celebrating the grounding power of friendship. Out now via Fearless Records, it’s the kind of track that refuses to sit still, it’s a fun one!
‘Hype Man’ barrels forward on a mash of thick riffs, jagged electronics, and pounding rhythms, with Rob Damiani’s vocals ricocheting between rap-driven verses, soaring hooks, and throat tearing screams. Produced by Dan Lancaster, the song finds Don Broco pushing their genre bending tendencies even further, welding early 2000s nu-metal spirit to their trademark melodic punch.

At its core, though, the single is about survival with your crew at your side. Damiani explains:
“Hype Man is about how grateful I am to be on this journey with the rest of my bandmates. We’ve been friends since school and I don’t know how I could face all the challenges of life without them… We all need that person to talk to when things become too much, that person who can bring the energy and get you back on track. So if you’re struggling, don’t ever be afraid to go ask for that help.”
‘Hype Man’ follows the band’s earlier 2025 release ‘Cellophane’, which signalled a sharpened nu-metal edge in their evolving sound. That track not only racked up over 700,000 streams in its first week but also landed Don Broco front and centre on major playlists including Spotify’s Nu New and YouTube’s New Metal. Together, the two singles hint at a band not just shifting gears but flooring it into their next chapter.
With a reputation built on high-octane live shows and fearless experimentation, Don Broco continue to blur the lines between rock, metal, and electronic mayhem. If ‘Hype Man’ is any indication, their next era promises to be just as unpredictable as it is explosive.
