Alien: Earth’ Takes The Crown In This Week’s Streaming Charts

JustWatch’s latest streaming charts are in, and it’s sci-fi mayhem up top. For the week of September 1 to 7, the new series Alien: Earth has stormed into first place, proving that fans still can’t get enough of the chest bursting franchise. Available across Hulu, Fubo, and other services, the show’s mix of survival horror and deep space dread has catapulted it straight past more established favorites.

Streaming Charts – TV

Netflix juggernaut Wednesday holds steady at number two, showing no signs of losing its grip on the goth teen crowd, while The Paper lands at number three, continuing its streak as one of Peacock’s breakout hits. Prime Video’s The Terminal List: Dark Wolf muscles into fourth, with Peacemaker punching through at fifth thanks to its return hype.

Rounding out the TV side, HBO’s Task sits at six, while The Twisted Tale of Amanda Knox surprises at seven, pulling strong numbers on Hulu. Streaming Charts – Movies

On the film front, it’s a battle between dark comedy and Marvel muscle. Netflix’s The Thursday Murder Club slices into first place, but Thunderbolts has landed strong at number two on Disney+, capitalising on its superhero fun. HBO Max’s Friendship secures third, while Netflix’s Unknown Number: The High School Catfish hooks viewers at four.

Apple’s Highest 2 Lowest rounds out the top five, followed by Sinners at six. A Working Man jumps up to seventh, Black Bag sneaks into eighth, and Spielberg’s classic Saving Private Ryan charges back into ninth, proof that war epics never go out of style. Nobody closes the list at ten, holding onto cult favorite status.
