Is the Predator now a Disney Prince? We’re not sure what’s more terrifying intergalactic trophy hunters or the fact that they now fall under the House of Mouse.
We first caught wind of Predator: Killer of Killers a few months back, and now the brand-new trailer has landed. And honestly? It f**king rips. Vikings? Ninjas? Yautja tearing through WWII fighter pilots mid-air? It’s giving Love, Death & Robots with a plasma caster.
Three Timelines. One Cold-Blooded Killer.
Directed by Dan Trachtenberg (Prey) and Josh Wassung from The Third Floor, Predator: Killer of Killers is a full-length animated anthology set across three timelines. Expect bone splintering carnage as the galaxy’s deadliest hunter goes head to head with:
- Viking warriors
- Samurai assassins
- WWII pilots caught in the crosshairs
The stories are written by Trachtenberg and Micho Robert Rutare, with voice talent from Lindsay LaVanchy, Louis Ozawa Changchien, Rick Gonzalez, and Michael Biehn, yes, Aliens legend Corporal Hicks himself. Who’s voicing who? Still under wraps.
Is That a Yautja Fighter Jet?
The WWII sequence has us especially hyped. Are we about to see a Predator leaping between warplanes like it’s Mission: Impossible meets Monster Hunter? Unclear. But if there’s a cloaked Yautja pilot cruising the skies, we’re not complaining.
While You’re Here… ‘Predator: Badlands’ Is Also Coming
In case you missed it, Predator: Badlands a live action entry starring Elle Fanning and a young Predator—is also heading our way. It’s set on an alien world, and yeah, it looks as wild as it sounds. Check out the official trailer and feast your eyes on that freshly dropped poster.
