After years in development limbo, King Of The Hill is officially back. Hulu has dropped the long awaited trailer for Season 14 of the cult animated series! It gives fans their first real look at the next chapter in Hank Hill’s propane fuelled saga. The new season premieres Monday, August 4, 2025, streaming exclusively via Hulu and Hulu on Disney+.
The trailer reveals a slightly older, slightly wearier Hank Hill returning to Arlen, Texas after years working overseas in Saudi Arabia. A plot twist that apparently funded Hank and Peggy’s long delayed retirement plans, retirement isn’t exactly relaxing though. Back in Arlen, the Hills find their hometown transformed, with familiar faces like Dale, Boomhauer, and Bill still holding down the block, if not their sanity.
Meanwhile, Bobby Hill’s grown up and living the good life as a chef in Dallas, now in his twenties and reconnecting with former classmates Connie, Joseph and Chane. Whether adult Bobby’s energy still drives his father mad remains to be seen, but fans can expect plenty of that trademark Hill family awkwardness.
Mike Judge returns as the voice of Hank Hill, joined by Kathy Najimy, Pamela Adlon, Johnny Hardwick, Stephen Root, Lauren Tom and Toby Huss. Behind the scenes, Judge and Greg Daniels resume their executive producer roles, with Saladin Patterson stepping in as the new showrunner.
For long time fans, the Season 14 trailer leans heavily into nostalgia without ignoring the passage of time. It’s still King Of The Hill, just aged like a Texan barbecue.
