Yellowcard lit up When We Were Young 2025 with a nostalgic yet renewed set featuring hits like Ocean Avenue and Only One, plus new single Bedroom Posters from their Travis Barker produced album Better Days.
At 2:45 p.m. on Saturday, October 18, the sun over Las Vegas shimmered gold as Yellowcard took the stage at When We Were Young, a fitting glow for a band whose music has always captured the bittersweet collision of youth and memory.
Opening with Only One, Ryan Key’s voice cut through the desert air, equal parts raw and resolute. From there, the set unfolded like a love letter to the band’s history, Lights and Sounds, Breathing, and their latest single Bedroom Posters slotting seamlessly between the nostalgia heavy anthems Way Away, Better Days, and the timeless closer Ocean Avenue. The crowd, many of whom grew up with these songs as a soundtrack to growing pains, shouted every lyric like they were still seventeen.
The performance was more than just a victory lap, it felt like a celebration of renewal. Bedroom Posters (below), from their album Better Days (out October 10), showed the band’s sound has evolved without losing its emotional centre. Produced and executive produced by Travis Barker, the record marks Yellowcard’s first full length in nearly a decade, with Barker drumming on every track.

Nostalgia Lives
As the sun dipped behind the Vegas skyline, the energy never waned. When We Were Young proved again that nostalgia is far from dead, it’s louder, tighter, and more alive than ever.
