Fit For A King aren’t pulling punches on their new album ‘Lonely God’. It’s their heaviest, most intentional work to date, delivered without compromise and stripped of any effort to chase trends or algorithms.
From the crushing chaos of ‘Keeping Secrets’ to the towering emotion of the title track, this record thrives on intensity. The band have let go of any industry expectations and instead leaned into vulnerability, fury and honesty. It most definitely shows!

Production And Features
With Daniel Braunstein on production duties, the album walks a fine line between melody and some sort of devastation. Braunstein, known for his work with Spiritbox and Dayseeker, amplifies Fit For A King’s sonic extremes, giving the record both its punch and polish.
The feature list alone tells a story: Lochie Keogh of Alpha Wolf, Chris Motionless, and Landon Tewers all bring unique textures that expand the band’s sound while staying true to their roots. There’s no filler with this one, every track sounds like it was written with blood under the fingernails.
Thematically, ‘Lonely God’ drips with disconnection, powerlessness, and the weight of existing in an unraveling world. It’s personal and global all at once, drawing strength from collective grief and private struggle.
