Zack De La Rocha, known for using his voice as a weapon against injustice, has joined forces with LA streetwear brand BornxRaised. A new benefit range aimed at helping those hit hardest by recent ICE raids across the city, this isn’t about hype or fashion trends. It’s about putting money where it matters! 100% of proceeds from the range will go to The Coalition for Humane Immigrant Rights, an organisation fighting to protect immigrant families from detention, harassment and worse.
The limited edition gear features the words ‘Protect Los Angeles’ embroidered front and centre, a clear message of resistance in the face of ongoing attacks on immigrant communities. BornxRaised shared the drop with powerful imagery of De La Rocha wearing the pieces, alongside a statement that cuts deep. “In L.A. we fight alongside our undocumented brothers and sisters… We reject the idea that anyone is illegal. Together we’re developing the capacity to defend our families from ICE and their armed vigilantes now invading our communities.”
For De La Rocha, this is just the latest move in a career built on standing up for the voiceless. With ICE’s raids terrorising communities and blurring the lines between protest and so called “terrorism,”. This collaboration is more than merch, it’s a call to act!
