Parkway Drive are throwing it back to 2010, when breakdowns were king and Byron Bay birthed a storm. Teaming up with Dixxon Flannel Co, for a limited edition ‘Deep Blue’ flannel drop, the collab honours 15 years since Parkway’s landmark third album. tore through the metalcore landscape and helped redefine what Aussie heavy music could sound like.
Launched via Dixxon’s socials today, the flannel lands June 25 at 5PM PDT through the Dixxon app, their site and in store at the Dixxon Showroom. Like all of their band collabs, this one’s a limited run, so if you sleep, you miss.
Dixxon called the release a tribute to the “raw energy” and “relentless drive for truth” that powered Deep Blue, quoting Parkway Drive frontman Winston McCall, who summed it up like this: “It’s about the search for truth in a world that seems to be devoid of that.” Really, what’s more fitting for 2025 than turning that chaos into streetwear?
The collab pairs Parkway’s uncompromising ethos with Dixxon’s cult flannel style, built for those who ‘dig deep, question authority and fight for what’s real.’ It’s more than nostalgia. It’s a statement.
Deep Blue dropped in June 2010, loaded with all time rippers like ‘Sleepwalker’ and ‘Home Is For The Heartless’. It laid the blueprint for their evolution from sweaty club pits to most recently performing at the Sydney Opera House.
This drop follows last week’s Dixxon x The Amity Affliction ‘Youngbloods’ flannel. Clearly, the mid 2010s Australian metalcore boom is back in fashion, literally.
Parkway Drive might’ve levelled up, but Deep Blue still cuts deep. Now you can wear it on your f**king chest and carry the chaos into whatever warzone you walk into next.
