Windwaker Gear Up For ‘Victory Lap’ Ahead Of US Tour With The Plot In You

Australian metalcore outfit Windwaker are firing the starter pistol on their next chapter with the release of their new single, ‘Victory Lap’, landing August 22. Pre-saves are live now here, giving fans the chance to lock in early before the band’s September run across the US.

The timing is no accident. The single’s arrival comes just weeks before Windwaker hit the road supporting The Plot In You, with Northlane and Invent Animate rounding out a stacked bill that’s bound to draw wall to wall crowds. It’s a tour that puts the Melbourne crew on some of the biggest stages they’ve seen Stateside, from East Coast ballrooms to West Coast theatres and offers plenty of opportunities to make good on their reputation for high-octane, crowd driven energy.

‘Victory Lap’ promises to pack the band’s trademark blend of punch-drunk riffs, neon lit synths and pop-sharp hooks, the kind of genre splitting formula that’s seen them climb from local openers to festival regulars in a handful of years.
