French metal shapeshifters lock in their next chapter ahead of new album
France’s genre-warping force TSS (f.k.a. The Sunday Sadness) just dropped a seductive rework of their breakout single ‘Would you be my therapy?’, this time tapping Aussie labelmates Windwaker to inject fresh energy into the track—and it hits different.
The revamped cut lands ahead of TSS’s upcoming full-length End of Time, out June 27 via Fearless Records, and brings all the mood swings and glitchy grooves fans have come to expect from the band. If the original was a late-night confession, the redux is a full-blown emotional spiral—with Windwaker’s glossy chaos giving it even more bite.
“This track defined the new TSS,” the band shared. “It’s the one that pushed us into our current sound—neo-metal, phonk, emo-core, industrial. It got Fearless Records’ attention, and now it’s got new life thanks to Windwaker, who we think are one of the most forward-thinking bands on the label.”
For the uninitiated, TSS built their name by warping emo and metalcore into something sleek, dark, and unmistakably theirs—blending alt-rock, synthwave, and now phonk into the mix. Vocalist and founder Kirby started the project in 2016, later linking with John (guitar/vocals) and Hugo (drums) to flesh out the vision. Over time, their sound has become harder to pin down and easier to get lost in.
