Aussie heavyweights The Amity Affliction are heading into the back half of 2025 with a global takeover in their sights, North America, Europe, and the UK are all on the itinerary. But before they hit the road, they’ve thrown down a harrowing new single, ‘All That I Remember’, and it’s a brutal emotional reckoning.

Fractured bloodlines and a legacy of pain
Vocalist Joel Birch doesn’t mince words about the deeply personal story behind the track, an unflinching look at his complicated relationship with his late mother.
“My mother knew only abuse and isolation, even in death as she cut her own children off; she died as she lived, paranoid and alone.”
The track’s emotional weight is bolstered by perspectives from Joel’s siblings, both of whom stepped forward to share the impact of their upbringing.
His brother Beau reflects:
“Time and again, our mother showed us that she would put herself first, and use life’s pain to justify her actions of self-interest, while we were left to fend for ourselves.”
His sister Chanel adds:
“This song reminds me how she would pit us against each other constantly, so much so I feel like my relationship with my brothers only grew after she was gone. When I was young I couldn’t see it, I didn’t understand the manipulation until years had passed, and I crossed oceans to breathe.”
New lineup, new voice, same brutal honesty
‘All That I Remember’ also introduces Jonny Reeves on clean vocals, stepping in for Ahren Stringer, whose recent exit marks a major turning point in Amity’s long-running story. It’s the start of a new era, one still soaked in emotion, but with a shifting voice and a fresh wound to explore.
If this track is any indicator of what’s coming, The Amity Affliction aren’t pulling back — they’re doubling down.
