The Underground’s fastest tongue is heading back to the mecca of mud, Faygo and face paint. Tech N9ne has been confirmed for the 25th annual Gathering of the Juggalos. Let’s be real, it wouldn’t be a proper Gathering without him!
Going down August 13–16 at Legend Valley in Thornville, Ohio, this year’s event is fittingly dubbed The Gathering of Legends. Two and a half decades deep, and it’s still the wildest celebration of music, misfits and magnetic madness the States has to offer. This year’s lineup looks stacked with returning cult favourites, but Tech’s inclusion hits different. Not just because he’s a guest, but because he’s part of the family.
Tech’s performances at past Gatherings have been nothing short of ballistic. Between rapid fire flows, psychotically tight stagecraft and the mutual respect between Strange Music and the Juggalo world, it’s always been a match made in face painted heaven. Whether he’s throwing down ‘Einstein’ or ‘Am I a Psycho?’, Tech brings that raw, unfiltered energy that thrives in the chaos of Legend Valley.
Promising the usual blend of carnivalesque insanity, think backyard wrestling, late night circus sh*t and unhinged sets from a wide range of underground acts. Of course you know it, yes there will be Faygo. So much Faygo!
For the uninitiated, this isn’t just a festival. It’s more like a pilgrimage! For the seasoned, it’s a spiritual checkpoint. Tech N9ne’s return just cements it.
