Sydney hardcore juggernaut SPEED have shared their latest single ‘Ain’t My Game’, the second preview of their upcoming EP All My Angels, out October 23 via Last Ride (AUS/NZ) and Flatspot Records (worldwide).
The new track arrives with a visualiser and follows September’s ‘Peace’. Built on groove heavy riffs and raw, shouted vocals, ‘Ain’t My Game’ delivers SPEED’s signature mix of toughness and urgency. Lyrically, it hits back against illusion and posturing, urging listeners to live authentically.
The three-song EP was produced, recorded, and mixed by Elliott Gallart at The Chameleon Studios, written in the shadow of deep personal loss. The band has spoken about how the passing of three close friends shaped the release, with themes of grief and unconditional love driving its heaviest hitting material to date.
The Future Of Hardcore
Critics have hailed SPEED as one of hardcore’s most important new voices. Rolling Stone called them a group that “want to keep the hardcore scene that shaped them alive, and ensure the baton gets passed to the next generation.” NME described their debut album Only One Mode as “uncompromising and undeniable.”
