Sleep Token Launch Sold Out U.S. Arena Tour In Georgia

Share

Sleep Token opened their long awaited U.S. arena run on September 16 at Gas South Arena in Duluth, Georgia, transforming the venue into their own otherworldly realm for a 15 song Ritual.

As reported by Louder Sound, Australian support act Thornhill set the stage before Vessel and company emerged, cloaked in shadows and atmosphere. The setlist spanned every era of their catalogue, balancing fan favourites with surprises that made the kick off feel historic.

The night began with Even in Arcadia’s epic opener ‘Look to Windward’, before diving into the heavy churn of ‘Vore’ and the cathartic pull of ‘The Offering’. From 2023’s Take Me Back to Eden, the crowd got ‘Granite’, ‘Aqua Regia’, and ‘The Summoning’, tracks that have become staples of their live arsenal.

It was the new additions that seemed to have the fans buzzing though, Even in Arcadia tracks ‘Caramel’ and ‘Damocles’ made their arena debut, while two songs, ‘Provider’ and ‘Infinite Baths’, were performed live for the first time ever. Deep cut ‘Thread the Needle’, originally from the One EP, resurfaced after a three year absence, underlining how unpredictable Sleep Token’s setlists have become, which is very much a good thing.

With theatrical staging, layered production, and Vessel’s voice shifting from whispers to roars, the performance reinforced why Sleep Token have become one of heavy music’s most enigmatic headliners. Their North American tour continues, with nearly every date already sold out.
