What makes the footage so striking is its intimacy, rather than a polished, career spanning retrospective, the clips show Ozzy Osbourne and Sharon surrounded by family, easing into their everyday routines. For fans who’ve watched Ozzy fight through Parkinson’s disease and multiple surgeries in recent years, the sight of him laughing and walking the grounds carries real weight.

Originally commissioned as a 10 episode series, the project has been condensed into a one hour film. That decision raises questions about what ended up on the cutting room floor, but the finished product seems focused on a portrait of resilience rather than a sprawling family chronicle.

What remains unclear is how much of Ozzy’s musical life will be covered, the trailer makes no mention of Back to the Beginning, Black Sabbath’s final hometown performance in Birmingham this July. Whether that angle survives in the condensed format remains to be seen.
