Three of alternative music’s most distinct voices Poppy, Evanescence’s Amy Lee and Spiritbox’s Courtney LaPlante have collided on a new track titled ‘End of You’, and it’s every bit as heavy and haunting as fans hoped.
The collaboration has been teased for weeks, with cryptic photos and clips of the trio dropping online before today’s full reveal. ‘End of You’ is here and is accompanied by a Jensen Noen directed video that plays like a gothic fever dream.

A Meeting Of Voices
What makes this collab hit so hard is how different yet complementary these three vocalists are. Amy Lee delivers her signature, soul piercing melodies, the kind that can still stop a room cold decades after Evanescence’s rise. Poppy shifts between ghostly cleans and sharp screams, cutting across the mix like a blade. Then there’s LaPlante, whose ability to balance guttural intensity with soaring cleans has made her one of metal’s most commanding modern frontwomen. Together, the chemistry is undeniable.
The Video
The music video is set in a crumbling, old-time movie theatre as flames tear through the screen and seats. A man styled like The Invisible Man becomes Lee’s target, as she spits the chilling line: “The end of life for you is the start of life for me.” It’s a striking visual metaphor, equal parts horror cinema homage and empowerment anthem.
Behind The Sound
‘End of You’ was produced by Jordan Fish, best known for his work with Bring Me The Horizon. Fish has a history with Poppy, having overseen both her solo work and her collaboration with BABYMETAL. His polished yet punishing production gives this track weight without sanding down its sharper edges.
Fish has also been busy with Amy Lee, recently producing her collab with Halsey, ‘Hand That Feeds’, featured on the Ballerina soundtrack. Meanwhile, both Poppy and LaPlante appeared on BABYMETAL’s latest record METAL FORTH, further cementing their reputation as go to voices in heavy music crossovers.
‘End of You’ isn’t just a collab for the hype cycle, it’s three powerhouses reminding us why they’re shaping the next chapter of heavy music.
