Mudvayne will begin their L.D. 50 25th anniversary tour without long-time guitarist Greg Tribbett, who is stepping away following the sad passing of his wife, Debbie, after an extended battle with cancer.
The band confirmed the news on September 11, writing: “Tour starts today! We are going to miss our brother Greg on this tour, sending him and his family all the love.”
Remembering Debbie Tribbett
Debbie was diagnosed with angiosarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer that develops in the lining of blood vessels, more than a year ago. A GoFundMe campaign was launched to help with her medical expenses and continues to accept donations to support Greg and the family in the wake of her passing, if you can help out, please do so.
Her death was first shared by the Mudvayne Mob fan community on Facebook: “With the heaviest of hearts we mourn the loss of our dearest most beautiful friend Debbie Tribbett… She was fiercely supportive of Mudvayne and her loving husband Greg, always so proud.”
Tour To Continue
The L.D. 50 25th anniversary run kicks off in Dubuque, Iowa and wraps October 26 in Uncasville, Connecticut. Marcus Rafferty, who previously filled in for Greg during Mudvayne’s 2023 Destroy All Enemies tour with Megadeth, will handle guitar duties. Rafferty has also worked as a tech for Lamb of God, Hatebreed, and Hellyeah.

Mudvayne will be joined by Static-X on the tour, with Vended opening, further details and your tickets can be found here!
New Music from Mudvayne
The news arrives as Mudvayne push forward with their long awaited return to releasing music. The band dropped “Hurt People Hurt People” in late August, their first new song in 16 years, followed by new single “Sticks and Stones” earlier this week.
