Limp Bizkit Drop New Track ‘Making Love To Morgan Wallen’

Share

Nu-metal’s most wild crew are back with fresh material, Limp Bizkit have released a new single, ‘Making Love to Morgan Wallen’, marking their first new material since 2021’s surprise drop Still Sucks.

The song made its live debut on social media last week when drummer Kristina Rybalchenko (better known as Kriss Drummer) teased it with Fred Durst. Now it’s out in full, and it’s classic Bizkit, loud, FUN, and guaranteed to split opinions the second it hits your speakers.

Check it out below:

A Throwback with Bite

The track opens with a twisted synth line that feels equal parts absurd and nostalgic, before Durst drops a shout out to the late Chester Bennington and immediately dives into the kind of half snarled, half jock rap that’s kept Bizkit in headlines since the late ’90s.

Wes Borland jumps in with one of his trademark jagged riffs, John Otto pounding behind the kit, and DJ Lethal layering in scratches that instantly transport you to the MTV2 era. It’s not subtle, and that’s how we like it.

Fans have already drawn comparisons to Chocolate Starfish staples like ‘Full Nelson’ and the atmosphere heavy ‘Take A Look Around’. It’s pure nostalgia bait, but delivered with enough conviction to remind you why Limp Bizkit became one of nu-metal’s most infamous exports in the first place.

A Long Awaited Follow Up

It’s been four years since Still Sucks dropped out of nowhere on Halloween 2021. That record proved the band could still stir the pot, leaning into their meme status while giving diehards exactly what they wanted. ‘Making Love to Morgan Wallen’ feels like a continuation of that, tongue firmly in cheek, but musically locked in.

Whether you’re blasting it ironically or unashamedly haven’t left the 90’s (guilty), Limp Bizkit are still capable of making the world bounce.
