Korn’s 2005 era revisited

Released in December 2005, See You On The Other Side marked Korn’s seventh studio outing. It smashed into the charts with singles ‘Twisted Transistor’ and ‘Coming Undone’, both of which helped secure the album’s Platinum certification in 2006. For many fans, the record captured a transitional period, Korn digging into industrial textures and pop hooks without losing their crushing heaviness.

This anniversary edition also revives a long buried rarity, the bonus track ‘Last Legal Drug’, previously only available on the Deluxe CD, will finally hit all streaming services on 21 November. This is a part of a digital deluxe release, just ahead of the album’s official 20th anniversary on 6 December.

Tempo Music’s Push Into Korn’s Catalogue

Tempo, which took a majority stake in Korn’s Untitled and See You On The Other Side masters in 2021, has been steadily curating vinyl celebrations around the band’s catalogue. Their 2023 Untitled reissue came packaged with a glow in the dark jacket and custom pressing. Now, the focus shifts back to the record that defined Korn’s mid 2000s experimentation.

‘Tempo takes great responsibility and honour in partnering with artists to provide fans engaging ways to consume these iconic catalogues,’ the company said. ‘We’re excited to celebrate this milestone with Korn by officially bringing this seminal album to vinyl and “Last Legal Drug” to streaming platforms so fans old and new can enjoy the band’s incredible work.’

For collectors, this anniversary pressing is as much a celebration as it is a reminder, Korn’s legacy keeps finding new ways to stay loud.
