Ghost Deploy ‘Skele-Bot’ To Deliver Food With Los Angeles Charity

Ghost have taken their theatrical flair off the stage and onto the streets, partnering with a Los Angeles charity to help deliver food to people in need using a custom branded delivery robot dubbed the ‘Skele-Bot’.

The initiative took place in Inglewood on Friday, December 19th as part of the YMCA’s FeedLA program, Ghost shared footage of the Skele-Bot navigating local streets on social media, revealing the collaboration as a holiday season effort aimed at supporting communities facing food insecurity.

In the caption accompanying the video, the band explained the purpose behind the unusual delivery method.

“We wish to inform you that Ghost is hosting a Day of Deliverance! Skele-Bot will be diligently roaming the streets of Inglewood, in Los Angeles, to assist FeedLA in making their essential food deliveries this holiday season,.”

The footage shows the Ghost branded robot travelling sidewalks and streets while transporting food supplies, blending the band’s signature aesthetic with a practical community initiative.

While delivery robots are becoming more common across Los Angeles, this one stands out thanks to its unmistakable Ghost branding and tongue in cheek presentation.

Ghost also used the announcement to reflect on their connection with fans and the shared experiences that cut across cities and scenes.

“Skeletour visited many cities this year and Ghost were humbled by the thousands and thousands of fans who joined them. We all share more similarities than differences,” the band continued. “Let’s not forget each other’s basic needs. Come together, together as one this holiday season.”

FeedLA

The FeedLA program is a long running YMCA initiative focused on delivering meals and groceries to underserved communities throughout Los Angeles, particularly during periods of increased demand like the holiday season.

The charity collaboration arrives at the tail end of a packed year for Ghost, the band have spent much of 2025 on the road with their Skeletour, supporting their latest album Skeletá, which was released earlier this year.

After a brief pause, Ghost are set to return to touring duties in late January, with the next leg kicking off in Florida.

For now, the Skele-Bot rollout serves as a reminder that beneath Ghost’s elaborate lore and imagery, there’s still a willingness to use their platform for something tangible and local.
