Fit For A King Drop New Track ‘Begin The Sacrifice’ + Detail Lonely God Album And Fall Tour

Share

Fit For A King are ramping up to their eighth studio album Lonely God, out August 1 via Solid State Records, and they’ve just unleashed another brutal preview: ‘Begin the Sacrifice’.

The band, Ryan Kirby, Bobby Lynge, Daniel Gailey, Trey Celaya and Ryan “Tuck” O’Leary tracked the album in Los Angeles with Daniel Braunstein (Spiritbox), promising a crushing yet introspective new chapter. Lonely God is shaping up to be an album that questions everything, from identity and belief to purpose in a world that’s constantly spiraling.

On ‘Begin the Sacrifice’, Kirby explains: “You can think of it as someone ready to give themselves over to a greater cause, but there are a million voices pulling in different directions. It’s easy to believe in nothing when you’re overwhelmed.”

The track’s video underscores that dissonance, layered with bleak tones and tense pacing, reflecting the internal conflict at the song’s core.
