Share

Fit For A King aren’t holding back, the Texas metalcore crew release their eighth album, ‘Lonely God’, on August 1 via Solid State Records. The new record was recorded in Los Angeles with producer Daniel Braunstein (Spiritbox) and promises some of the heaviest material the band’s delivered yet.

According to the band, the track was born out of a desire to write a straight up deathcore song without overthinking it. Lyrically, it’s inspired by Netflix’s horror series Midnight Mass, with frontman Ryan Kirby drawing parallels between the show’s vampire priest and the song’s themes of deception and rebirth.

The video is a dark one, set in a church with both Kirby and Motionless featuring and… Well we’ll let you see for yourself below:

‘Witness The End’ isn’t just another guest spot track. Motionless brings a razor sharp edge to the song, amplifying its chaotic breakdowns and relentless groove.
