It’s been a rough stretch for Ronnie Radke. Days after announcing he’d lost his defamation lawsuit against music critic Anthony Fantano, Falling In Reverse have reportedly pulled the plug on a headlining date in Austin, Texas, allegedly due to low ticket sales.
Fans set to attend the August 13 show at Moody Center said they received sudden Ticketmaster notifications confirming the cancellation. The only official wording: “Unfortunately, the Event Organiser has had to cancel your event.” According to Lambgoat, a source claims slow sales were to blame, though the band hasn’t issued any public statement.
God Is A Weapon Tour
The Austin date was part of Falling In Reverse’s God Is A Weapon North America Tour, which kicked off over the weekend in Colorado with an all-star heavy lineup: Slaughter To Prevail, Wage War, Hollywood Undead, Tech N9ne, Sleep Theory and Point North. It’s not the only stop to disappear from the schedule, their August 26 show in Bristow, Virginia has also been quietly cancelled, with no confirmed reason.

Awkward Timing
The timing is awkward. Last week, Radke uploaded a video bluntly titled ‘I LOST MY LAWSUIT WITH ANTHONY FANTANO’, admitting defeat in his legal battle against the self-proclaimed “internet’s busiest music nerd.” The lawsuit stemmed from Fantano’s 2024 video ‘This Guy Sucks’, which took aim at Radke’s past behaviour, public controversies and music.
In his new video, Radke took personal shots at Fantano, calling him an “insecure, little baby”, while conceding that his legal team warned him from the outset that the case was unlikely to succeed.
For a frontman whose public image is as polarising as his stage presence, the back to back headlines only add to the noise surrounding this tour. While the remaining dates are still intact, the absence of any formal comment from the band leaves fans guessing whether Austin and Bristow are isolated misfires or a sign of deeper trouble on the road.
For now, the God Is A Weapon tour continues, but with Radke’s week playing out both in court and on the calendar, the spotlight isn’t just on the music.
