Metalcore trailblazers ERRA aren’t wasting time in 2025. Off the back of last week’s single ‘Gore of Being’, the Alabama crew have unleashed another dose of their polished brutality in the form of ‘Echo Sonata’. The track is paired with a stripped back visualiser that lets the track do the heavy lifting.

‘Echo Sonata’ dips into the band’s past while hinting at their future direction. Guitarist and clean vocalist Jesse Cash says the song naturally channels the melodic spirit of their 2016 album Drift, despite not being intentionally written that way. “It’s a proper representation of the kind of melody and emotion we’re going for on the next record,” Cash explains.
Between the sharp edged technical riffage and expansive choruses, it’s classic ERRA with a modern twist. For fans of their recent CURE era, it’s a promising glimpse of what’s next.

If you’re itching to hear the new material live, ERRA are hitting the road across North America this summer, stepping in as main support for Architects. The run kicks off July 21 in Charlotte, NC, winding through major cities like LA, Chicago, and Toronto, before wrapping up in New York on August 22.
