Bourbon & Beyond is going big for 2026.
The Louisville, Kentucky festival has unveiled the largest lineup in its eight year history, stacking more than 100 artists across five stages from September 24–27 at the Kentucky Exposition Center.
This year’s headliners read like a cross-section of modern rock and Americana heavyweights:

Thursday, September 24: Foo Fighters, Queens of the Stone Age, Goose
Friday, September 25: Mumford & Sons, Kacey Musgraves, Foster the People
Saturday, September 26: Chris Stapleton, The Red Clay Strays, Jason Isbell and the 400 Unit
Sunday, September 27: Dave Matthews Band, Hootie & the Blowfish, Counting Crows
Elsewhere on the bill: The Flaming Lips, The War on Drugs, Gary Clark Jr., Joan Jett & The Blackhearts, Portugal. The Man, Of Monsters and Men, Cheap Trick, The Fray, Violent Femmes, Angus and Julia Stone, Our Lady Peace, and dozens more spanning rock, roots, bluegrass and alt-pop.
The goal remains simple
Festival producer Danny Wimmer says the goal remains simple (per press release).
“Bourbon & Beyond is built to be the best weekend of your year. Plain and simple. From the second you arrive, everything is designed so you can fully experience what a music festival should be,” he explains. “It’s an escape with soul — a place where you can unplug from real life, let loose, be a kid again, and really live in the moment.”
Beyond the music, the festival continues leaning into its identity as the “World’s Largest Bourbon, Food & Music Festival.” The revitalized Fork & Flask curated by Kroger experience promises high impact spirit pairings and Louisville culinary staples, while the Kroger Big Bourbon Bar hosts bluegrass sets and line dancing.
There’s also free access to rides inside Kentucky Kingdom for ticket holders, turning the grounds into something closer to a full scale adult playground than a standard festival field.
