Beartooth are immortalising their biggest show to date. The Ohio heavyweights dropped ‘I Was A… LIVE’ on Friday, July 11th. Capturing their sold-out arena homecoming at The Schottenstein Center in Columbus earlier this year.
The 90 minute set, filmed back in January, marked the band’s first hometown arena gig, a milestone after a decade of relentless touring. Now, the full performance is available for fans everywhere via Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music and streaming in full on Beartooth’s YouTube channel.

Shot and directed by Ray Duker, the show blends pyro, pit energy, and Caleb Shomo’s trademark rawness into a live album that aims to put listeners “right at front of house.” As Shomo put it: “It felt good to go home and let it all go with our friends and families at our sides.”
Fans wanting a physical piece of the night can also grab one of three limited edition double vinyl variants, each pressed in small runs:

The release follows the success of ‘The Surface’, Beartooth’s chart topping fifth record. The album spawned their first US Active Rock number 1 singles with ‘Might Love Myself’ and ‘I Was Alive’. Their single ‘Hated’ was also recently certified Gold by the RIAA.
Summer of Loud Tour
If that’s not enough Beartooth for you, they’re currently co headlining the Summer of Loud tour alongside I Prevail, Killswitch Engage and Parkway Drive. Later this year, they’ll hit When We Were Young in Las Vegas and We Missed Ourselves Festival in Mexico City.
