BABYMETAL aren’t slowing down. The Japanese metal icons have just unleashed their fifth single from upcoming album METAL FORTH, dropping the blistering ‘KON! KON!’ featuring Indian metal juggernauts Bloodywood. Out now via Capitol Records, the track doubles down on BABYMETAL’s signature blend of pop melodies and razor-sharp riffage, with Bloodywood’s traditional instrumentation adding an extra edge.
Filmed at their Madison Square Garden show, the accompanying video captures BABYMETAL’s larger than life energy, alongside the ferocity of Bloodywood’s guest spots. It’s a solid taste of what fans can expect when METAL FORTH arrives on August 8.

The album itself reads like a rollcall of modern heavy hitters. With collaborations including Poppy, Spiritbox, Electric Callboy, Polyphia, Slaughter To Prevail and more! It’s a melting pot of sounds and styles, all filtered through BABYMETAL’s unapologetically out there, genre mashing approach. If previous singles ‘RATATATA’, ‘from me to u’, and ‘Song 3’ are anything to go by, METAL FORTH will once again push the limits of what “metal” can be.

Surprise Los Angeles Show!
Well, not so secret anymore! Fans in Los Angeles are in for something even more immediate. The band just announced an, intimate show at The Regent Theater on July 24, dubbed the ‘METAL FORTH Countdown’. With strictly limited tickets and a strict no resale policy, it’s shaping up to be one of BABYMETAL’s most exclusive US shows to date, a rare chance to catch SU-METAL, MOAMETAL and MOMOMETAL up close before their largest US headline gig at LA’s Intuit Dome later this year.
