AFI are peeling back another layer of Silver Bleeds the Black Sun…, this time with the release of a visualizer for their new single ‘Ash Speck in a Green Eye.’
The official clip surfaced this week, pairing the track’s brooding textures with shifting visuals that echo the song’s abstract title. Fans can stream ‘Ash Speck in a Green Eye’ now and pre order the album, which lands 3 October via Run For Cover Records.
The record marks AFI’s twelfth full length, following recent singles ‘Behind the Clock’ and ‘Holy Visions.’ Where the first two tracks carved distinct paths, slow burning tension on the former, sharp post punk urgency on the latter, ‘Ash Speck in a Green Eye’ takes yet another turn. The song leans into the band’s gift for atmosphere, blurring gothic ambience with driving undercurrents that refuse to settle into the background.

AFI Fall U.S Tour
AFI are also gearing up to bring this new chapter to life on stage. Their fall U.S. tour kicks off 30 September in Madison, Wisconsin, and runs through 5 November in San Diego. Along the way, they’ll hit major stops including Chicago, Boston, Philadelphia, New York, and Oakland, with select dates supported by TR/ST.
