Alien Ant Farm Call Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 Soundtrack Snub “A Bummer”

The Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater games are legendary for their soundtracks, but one band isn’t feeling the love this time around. Alien Ant Farm have reacted to the news that their track ‘Wish’, a staple from Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3 didn’t make the cut for the upcoming Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 remake.

Guitarist Terry Corso didn’t hide his disappointment, telling BBC News: “Is it a bummer that we weren’t invited or that they didn’t include us? Absolutely.” Corso added that while they understand the need to freshen up the playlist, he’s not sure why ‘Wish’ got the axe. “I feel like our song was really good on there and it did really well.”

Frontman Dryden Mitchell weighed in too, admitting they’re not exactly a punk band but arguing that variety is what made those soundtracks iconic. “That’s what makes a cool soundtrack, is a collection, being different.”

Relive ‘Wish’:

This time, a mix of old and new is shaping the Tony Hawk Pro Skater 3+4 soundtrack. Classics like ‘Ace of Spades’ (Motörhead) and tracks from CKY and Iron Maiden are still in, but heavy hitters like Red Hot Chili Peppers, Zebrahead and now Alien Ant Farm got left behind.

It’s a shame to see a track like ‘Wish’, one that defined so many gamers’ early skate sessions left on the bench. If there’s one thing the Tony Hawk’s series has taught us though, it’s that great music and skating will always find a way to collide. Let’s see what this new ride delivers.

Tony Hawk responded to fans on Instagram, “It was my choice to pick some different songs by the same artists featured in the OST. I’m hoping that discovery is half the fun.”

Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 3+4 lands July 11, 2025, on PC, PlayStation, Xbox and Nintendo Switch platforms.
