The heroes in a half shell are back, and this time, they’re heading to New Jersey. Nickelodeon and Paramount have dropped the first teaser for ‘Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Chrome Alone 2’, an all new short film that reunites the turtle brothers for another wild adventure packed with neon grit, mischief, and mutant energy.
The short features returning voice actors Micah Abbey, Shamon Brown Jr., Nicolas Cantu, Brady Noon, alongside Beck Bennett and Zach Woods, diving back into the chaotic charm of the Mutant Mayhem universe.
This time around, a shady toy company is cashing in on the turtles’ newfound fame, but when the brothers start investigating, they uncover something far darker beneath the surface. The teaser shows flashes of scrapyard brawls, retro styled gadgets, and that signature mix of comedy and charm that’s defined the franchise for decades
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Chrome Alone 2 – Official Teaser Trailer
Written by Andrew Joustra and directed by Kent Seki, ‘Chrome Alone 2’ is produced by Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, James Weaver, Jeff Rowe, and Ramsay McBean, with Josh Fagen serving as executive producer. The short hits theatres December 19, 2025, premiering alongside ‘The SpongeBob Movie: Search for SquarePants’.
While it’s not a full sequel to Mutant Mayhem (below), the new short keeps that same grungy, hand drawn visual style that made the 2023 film a hit with fans and critics alike. It feels like another love letter to both the classic 1980s turtles and the next-gen kids growing up with pizza fuelled carnage and comic book heart.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles ‘Mutant Mayhem’ 2023
If Chrome Alone 2 proves anything, it’s that the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles’ legacy is still very much alive, mutating, and as fun as ever. What better way to celebrate Christmas than with some new TMNT fun?
