Texas heavyweights in the making Gore. are ripping into their next chapter with a ferocity that’s equal parts vulnerable and venomous. The self made quartet have announced their new EP, IF YOU DO NOT FEAR ME…, set to arrive on October 3 through Spinefarm Records.
The band have also dropped their latest single ‘Wrath’, a track that gnashes its teeth on the bones of resentment, cynicism, and fear. It’s the follow up to their recent cut ‘Sepsis’, which will also appear on the EP. Both singles build on the foundation laid by 2023’s A Bud That Never Blooms, a release that dealt in societal collapse (‘Doomsday’), broken romance (‘Babylon’), and family grief (‘Heaven Is Above Me’). If that record was a wound, this new era feels like the scar tissue, tougher, rawer, and impossible to ignore.
Gore. ‘Wrath’
Frontwoman Haley Roughton leads the charge with a voice that balances guttural rage and naked vulnerability, backed by Alex Reyes on guitar, Devin Birchfield on bass, and new recruit Wills Weller behind the kit. Together, they’re proving that modern metal can be both devastatingly heavy and emotionally unflinching.
Industry eyes are already locked on Gore. Revolver spotlighted them as a “Band You Need To Know,” while NME slotted them into its 2025 Essential Emerging Artists list, praising their “cutting-edge modern metal at its most vulnerable.” Support has also poured in from big name fans across the scene, including Motionless in White, Flyleaf, Papa Roach, and Cane Hill.
With a steadily growing following, 40K on Instagram, nearly 28K on TikTok, and a rapidly expanding YouTube presence, Gore. are proving they don’t just belong in the conversation. They are the conversation. And with IF YOU DO NOT FEAR ME…, they’re about to make damn sure no one looks away.
