ShipRocked is officially setting sail again.
After wrapping its biggest voyage to date in 2026, the rock and metal cruise has confirmed dates and ports for ShipRocked 2027, departing January 24–30 aboard Carnival Horizon.
The floating festival will sail out of Miami, Florida, heading to Mahogany Bay in Roatan, Honduras, a first for ShipRocked and Cozumel, Mexico, bringing six days of deck stage fun, late night sets, and full ship takeovers back to the Caribbean.
2027’s cruise will carry a ‘ShipRocked Samurai’ theme, leaning into the theatrical edge the event has embraced in recent editions (per press release).
ShipRocked 2026 closed out its sold out 16th year with more than 4,100 guests onboard, marking the largest cruise in the event’s history, the lineup delivered heavy hitters including Halestorm, Motionless In White, Knocked Loose, Wage War, AWOLNATION, Suicidal Tendencies, Avatar, Starset, Sleep Theory, Kittie and more, alongside the all-star collective The Stowaways featuring members of I Prevail, Hollywood Undead, Ice Nine Kills, P.O.D., Atreyu and others.
Moments ranged from Halestorm’s deck-stage ‘ShipDocked’ set in Nassau to Motionless In White revisiting Rammstein’s ‘Du Hast’ live for the first time since 2018, Avatar leaned into theatrics for sailaway, while The Stowaways delivered a genre-spanning party set that ran from Alice Cooper to Papa Roach.
Beyond the music, ShipRocked continues to position itself as a full immersion experience, Tattoo parlors, artist Q&As, dodgeball tournaments, blackjack competitions, live band karaoke and theme nights blur the line between festival and summer camp, just with better bars and salt air.
The 2026 edition also raised $200,000 through the annual Cancer Sucks! onboard charity auction, pushing total funds raised past $1.2 million to date for cancer research.
2027 Pre-registrations
Pre-registration for next year is already underway for returning cruisers, with public pre-sale information expected soon via ShipRocked’s official site.
If 2026 proved anything, it’s that ShipRocked isn’t slowing down, it’s scaling up.
