Louder Than Life Spotlight: Mudvayne Bring The Madness Back to Louisville

Share

Get your face paint ready, Mudvayne are crawling back out of the crypt for a punishing set at Louder Than Life 2025. You know it’s gonna be a freak show in the best possible way! The masked math metal masters from Peoria, Illinois are locked in for the Louisville chaos this September. If you’ve ever been levelled by ‘Dig’ live, you know what kind of sonic trauma to expect!

Louder Than Life 2025 Line Up

Nostalgia will be running high, but don’t get it twisted, it’s not only about that. Mudvayne’s reunion has been anything but half arsed, after a long dormancy, the band returned with full theatrical intensity. On top of this, they sound tighter than ever and still playing like they’ve got something to prove. Their recent live shows have shown a band reconnecting with its roots, LD 50 chaos, techy riff insanity, Chad Gray screaming like a man exorcising demons and that signature low end sludge you feel in your chest cavity.

At Louder Than Life, they’ll join a stacked lineup including Slayer, Deftones, Rob Zombie, and Avenged Sevenfold. There are no two ways about it though, Mudvayne will be one of the heaviest sets of the weekend. Expect whiplash rhythms, blood curdling howls and a pit that moves like a demolition site. Whether they dig into deep cuts or hammer out hits like ‘Not Falling’ and ‘Death Blooms’, it’s going to be ugly, in all the right ways.

Mudvayne take the stage Friday, September 19. Details/Tickets here!

It’s safe to say Nu Metal is back, not that it ever really left in our book anyway. Do yourself a favor and party like it was 1999/2000 at these upcoming shows. See you in the pit!
