The long running Juggalo Gathering will take over Macks Creek, Missouri from August 19–22, marking a fresh chapter for a festival that thrives on controlled disorder and outsider unity.
After a five year stretch in Thornville, Ohio, ICP are clearly itching to shake things up, and this isn’t just a change of postcode, it’s a full blown reset.
“Like a Jolly Roger flew on high above a crow’s nest, consider this your call to action to journey forth across uncharted seas!” the group wrote in a pirate themed post.
“Get ready to celebrate life with your Juggalo Family as we bring the greatest show on Earth to a brand-new river-infused realm of dopeness, nestled within Missouri’s Lake of the Ozarks area!”
That “realm” is Macks Creek, a town of just 365 people. It’s better known for traffic fines than festival culture, but come August, it’ll be flooded with Juggalos, face paint, and two litres flying through the air.
A festival built on chaos and loyalty
The Gathering has always been more than a lineup, it’s a four day pressure valve for a subculture that doesn’t fit neatly anywhere else, wrestling rings, late night sets, comedy, it all bleeds together.
Over the years, it’s bounced between locations like Cave in Rock, Oklahoma City, and its original 2000 home in Novi, each move reshapes the experience, and this Ozarks shift feels like ICP doubling down on the festival’s anything can happen DNA.
There’s also a practical edge here, smaller towns mean fewer restrictions and more room for the unpredictable energy that defines the Gathering, whether Macks Creek is ready is another question entirely.
Tickets and timing
Tickets go live Friday, April 24 at 9 p.m. ET via juggalogathering.com, giving fans a few months to prepare for the pilgrimage.
The Gathering remains the Juggalo heartbeat, t’s where the mythology lives, where the fans become the spectacle, and where the line between performance and reality gets blurred beyond recognition.
Missouri’s about to find out what that actually looks like.
