The horror-metal juggernaut returns with Dayseeker, Kim Dracula, Mest and more in tow
Ice Nine Kills are gearing up to carve through the States again, bringing their macabre theatricality and razor-sharp riffs to arenas and amphitheatres across the US this August and September. The freshly announced ‘Hell of a Summer Tour’ sees INK headline a diverse and chaotic lineup, capping it all off with a massive hometown blowout in Worcester, Massachusetts as part of Silver Scream Con.
A Lineup That Slashes Across Scenes
INK are no strangers to a genre-smashing bill, and this one cuts deep. From August 8 to 31, they’ll be joined by:
- Dayseeker – bringing their emotional metalcore flair
- Kim Dracula – the wildcard tearing up norms with genre-bending chaos
- The Funeral Portrait – glam-goth theatrics and pure performance energy
From September 2, pop-punk cult heroes Mest join the carnage, right through to the Florida dates. Then, on September 13, the tour closes with a bang at Worcester’s DCU Center. A homecoming gig that lands smack in the middle of Silver Scream Con. That show will feature A Loss for Words in a rare guest appearance, locking in a lineup that’ll send New England’s alternative faithful into a frenzy.
Charnas Gets Personal
Vocalist and horror mastermind Spencer Charnas is keeping it nostalgic:
‘This tour’s a love letter to every era of INK, especially for those who’ve been here since day one. Having Mest on these shows? Full circle. I started INK after seeing them in Worcester 25 years ago. That show’s tattooed behind my ear.’
‘And now we’re closing the run in that same city, at the same arena I saw Family Values back in the day. It’s surreal. Add in Silver Scream Con and some punk royalty? It’s going to be one hell of a finale.’
